Stepping out from the rear of a parked motor car at the Great jSouUi Road Terminus at 1.40 this afternoon Mrs. Green, of Grey Street. Ellersliej who intended boarding a stationary tram car was knocked clown by a passing motor lorry. Although she escaped injury she was* taken home suffering from shock. The dii'c; of til'.- lorn was Mr. George fT. Hcdluml, of 4, Douglas Street, I'oiisonby.
