COMPANY AFFAIRS.
J. ILOTT, LTD,
J. Ilott, Ltd., the senior advertising service agency of New Zealand, has definitely entered the Australian field, and has opened offices, in Sydney. Envelopes containing a score of neat reproductions of Ilott advertisements in New Zealand newspapers are now finding their way into the hands of Australian advertisers.
The Ilott invasion seems to be an answer to the invasion of New Zealand by the Catts-Patterson firm (says the Sydney "Newspaper News") For many years Messrs. Ilott were the New Zealand representatives of Messrs. Catts-Patterson, and each firm confined its primary activities to its own country.. Some months ago, however, Messrs. Catts-Patterson opened a branch office in New Zealand, and now Ilott, Ltd., has appeared in Australia.
J. Ilott (Australia), Ltd., has been registered with a nominal capital of £30,000. The organisation is closely linked with Messrs. Griffin, Shave and Co., the first shareholders being: J. M. A. Ilott (Wellington, H.Z.), one share;.W. L. Chapman (Wellington, N,Z.), one share; A. L. Herriott ' (Sydney), one "share; F. P. Griffin (Sydney), one share; C. N. Hughes (Bydney), one share; L. C. H. Shave (Melbourne), one share; F. L. Eaves (Melbourne), one share, jtoJiags^frJfeJlflfeftßista*
