SUNSHINE ASSOCIATION.
The boys of the Community Club, Nelson Street, had a gala night for their breaking-up last week. Mr. A. J. Williamson presided. He stressed the necessity of the boys living up to the ideals laid down by their teachers, and trusted that as a result of their association a splendid type of manhood would result. He explained that the association would have a greatly enlarged programme during the coining year. The club would reopen in February. For the intervening period the younger boys would meet daily on the playgrounds in the afternoons for sports, and the elder boys after .3 p.m. on Victoria Park. Several fine cups would be competed for. and Mr. Williamson urged upon the boys the need of acting as true sportsmen in trying for the event*.
