FOUR WICKETS TO CUNNINGHAM.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Plunket Shield matHi was eon* tinued in dull weather. Despite rain overnight the wicket wae fairly hard. The Auckland innings was continued by Gillespie and Whitelaw. The sixth wicket fell at 274, Whiielaw being bowled by Cunningham. Gillespie batted very s'lowly, and, after adding 18 to his overnight score' he was stumped by Burns off 3lerrkt. Seven wickets were down for 291, and of the remaining batsmen the only one to make any stand was Horspooi, who scored 30. Cunningham cleaned up, the tail of the Auckland team, taking the last three wickets in a couple of overs.
