Following the excellent lead of their parent company in London, who recently purchased the whole of the advertising columns of the London "Evening News," Columbia Gramophone (Australia), Ltd. on December 3 paid no uncertain tribute to the wonderful publicity value of the Australian Press.
Co-operation with such widely known firme ae A. Hordern and Sons, Marcus Clark, Ltd., Gowing Bros., W. H. Paling, Ltd.* A. Saundere, etc., in the preparation of Columbiaised displays, resulted in the creation of • reuiarkable precedent, in tWit the- edition of the "Telegraph PictoTial" carried Columbia announcement* either wholly, or partly, throughout it* allotted advertising epaces. Such enterprise as this marks an epic page in be history of the Australian Frees.
