THE ANNUAL MEETING.
A STREXUOUS YEAR

The annual meeting of the, Brunner Collieries, Ltd., was held to-day. Mr. Stitt (chairman' and nm paging director) said 1 the directors had had a strenuous year. There had been delay in disposing of shares, and in consequence the directors decided to issue debentures. It was hoped these would all be placed during the year. It only inquired completion of the bine to enable output to take plac*. It was antuMjiated that output would be in progn-ss early in the new year. Shareholders could look forward with confidence to the future. Mr. Patterson, seconding the adoption of the report, said the .Railway Department was satisfied with the coal, and would be a large and immediate customer. Other speakers were also optimisticThe retiring directors were re-electe'l.
