SERIOUS CHARGE DENIED.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Wednesday. A charge of unlawful carnal knowledge at Hangatiki on or about August 30 waa made against Alexander McDonald, aged 27, in the Magistrate's Court. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Hamilton Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed.
