CORNWELL CUP TROUBLE.
OTAGO'S CHALLENGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. There was a long discussion at a meeting of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association this evening concerning the action of the North East Harbour Boating Club in sending a challenge on behalf of Otago for the Cornwell Cup. It was unanimously decided that the club be asked to withdraw the challenge, and failing such withdrawal that the club be asked to withdraw from the association. Strong opposition is made by all other Otago clubs and the majority of boating men against Otago entering the contest this year. THE SANDERS CUP. EILEEN TO CARRY OTAGO COLOURS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. The Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association this evening decided that Eileen should be Otago's challenger for the Sanders Cup, the boat having won three trial races very decisively. Eileen represented Otago last year.
