Quality was very good and values were a shade firmer. Cows were more, plentiful, and here also competition was keen for all well finished animals. Not so many fat eheep were yarded, and there wae a larger proportion of. cwee, all of which were ehorn. These were comparatively dull of. ealee, but wethers were dear. There was an average yarding of lambs with little alteration in values, the presence of export buyers having a steadying effect upon the market. There was a full supply of calves, and values were distinctly eaeier. An average yarding of pigs met with keen competition, and better pricee were realised.
