V.C.'s LAWSUIT.
INJURY IN FILM PRODUCTION.
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association..! (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 20. In the Keysor case, in which Leonard Keysof, an Australian Victoria Cross winner, sued a film producer, G. B. Samuelson, for damages for injuries alleged to have been received in the filming of the re-enactment of the Gallipoli bombing episode for which Keysor was decorated, the assistant producer gave evidence. He said that the accident was due to the premature firing of gunpowder. The electrician deposed that he carried out his instructions to fire the charge as a sandbag was dropped. Keysor was awarded £675 damages.
