REFORMERS FOR MR. GEORGETTI

OHAKUNE, this day,

A large and representative meeting of Waimarino electors was held in Ashwell's Hall, Raetihi, last night to discuss the question of which of the two Independent candidates should bo supported —Mr. R. W. Smith or Mr. J. Georgetti. Mr. G. J. Goldfinch, Mayor of Ohakune, presided. Shortly after the commencement, as the meeting could come to no decision, the Reform supporters retired, and they returned later ana announced, through the Mayor of Raetihi (Mr. W. H. Sandford), who is chairman of the local Reform Committee, that they had decided to support Mr. Georgetti.

There is no Reform candidate in the field. The other candidate is Mr. F. Langstone (Labour).
