LATE MRS. M. ANDREW.
FUNERAL AT OTAHUHU,
The remains of the late Mrs. M. Andrew were interred at Otahuhu public cemetery yesterday, and the number of mourners was amongst the largest ever seen in the district, there being nearly 100 motor cars. The Rev. Mr. Roseveare conducted a short service at the residence of Mrs. G. Gladding, a daughter of Mrs. Andrew. On the way to the cemetery the Salvation Army silver bentl marched in front of the hearse and played wellknown hymns. The service at the grave was conducted by Adjutant Griffin and Brigadier Williams. The latter, who only returned to Auckland from Australia a few weeks ago, had officiated at the funeral of the late Mr. Andrew, 30 years ago. Over SO wreaths had been forwarded by relatives and friends. Mrs. Andrew's nine children were present, and the pallbearers were six grandsons.
