INTER-HOUSE GIRLS. Through the medium of the Press the Auckland Interhouse Girls' Sports Association wish to announce that they are an entirely separate and independent body from the Auckland Athletic Girls' Association. Through the confusion of these two bodies, it is thought by many that the Auckland Interhouse Girls' Sports Association are the purchasers of the Remuera Hockey Grounds, and they would like to state here that such is not the case, nor are they in any way connected with it.

The Interhouse Association was formed five years ago and caters for girls in the soft goods houses—retail, wholesale and factory. Its aim and object is the furtherance of goodwill, fellowship and physical well being, and the spirit which prevails among the girls speaks well for the success of the movement.

The undoubted stability of the association is something to be proud of, and the committee feel that it would not come amiss at this time to express its appreciation of the help rendered by the employers and all the numerous nriaf orwj frianda of ihaiHaa SWSV23 ICS
