SERIOUS CHARGES.
EE-TRIAL OF A FARMER.
Serious charges were brought against John Horace James Johnson, farmer (Mr. Sullivan), whose re-trial was begun at the Supreme Court this morning, before Mr. Justice Smith. The allegations related to four charges of incest at Netherton, in 1927 and 1928. Mr. V. N. Hubble conducted the casa for the Crown. His Honor made an order, on counsel's application, clearing the Court, but said he would liot forbid publication of the evidence. The case would be left to the discrimination of the Press.
