WAIHI MINE REPORT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIIII. this day. The following Information has been caliled to London: — For the four-weekly period ended October 20. 19,259 tons of ore were crushed for a result of 6670 fine ounces of gold and 31.652 fine ounces of silver.' Included in these figures are 1638 tons mined from the Grand Junction area, which yielded 753 ounces of gold and "002 ounces of silver. No. 9 Level : Driving west on the Reglnn lode, the next 20ft assays 42/0 per ton. In the north section of the Empire lode, driving west, the next 37ft assays 27/3 per ton Tiie lode Is about sft wide. Shark northwest crosscut has been resumed and advanced a further 135 ft. No. 11 level Empire lode: At 06ft up the McXamara rise the lode was crosscut the full width, being 17ft. and the assay value 42/0 per ton. In the south end the crosscut holed through to former workings. No. 14 level: In the crosscut at 7Ssft east on the Martha lode the last 15ft is quartz of very little value. •No. 4 diamond drill hole is down 339 ft. The drill is still in quartz of low value
