Escapee From Australian Gaol Arrested In France.
HID ON GERMAN SHIP.
(Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The police have been advised that John Brendon Parker, aged 24, who escaped from the Darlinghurst lockup after being sentenced to four years' penal servitude for burglary, has been arrested at Bordeaux, France, whither he journeyed on a German steamer on which he stowed away.
