PALMERSTON N, Thursday. In spite of torrential showers the attendance for tV final day of tlie Royal Show was good. The attractions were the ring- competitions and jyrand parade iu the afternoon and a military display in the evening. The gate takings fo'r tho day were £T75 3/9, compared with £779 7/9 for the third day of the Manuwatu Sj>ring Show last year. There was an increase of £97 12/ C for the. three days, which wa<3 considered satisfactory in view of the wretched weather.
