COMMUNITY CLUB.

After a season. of most successful parties, the bridge committee of the Community Club held a large and final gathering for the year in (he Lewis Eady Hall, last evening. There was a splendid attendance of players, tables, being set on the stage, in the main hall and in the foyer. An energetic band of young helpers sold sweets, and a number of competitions also added to the funds. All through the season the bridge parties have been most popular, and over £80 has been taken. By the effort last evening the sum was increased to over £100, which reflects great credit on the committee who have worked so diligently to realise their aim. The committee, in charge of the arrangements, were: Mrs. P. E. N". Gaudin (chairwoman), who wore a frock of black georgette with panel of gold tissue, brown fur hem; Mrs. ¥.
