DEFICIENCY EXCEEDS £38,000
£27,659 OF DEBTS SECURED. OTHER ASSETS VALUED AT £1247. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. James R. Murphy, a well-known sheep farmer, has filed a petition in bankruptcy, and a statement showing a dificiency of £38,692.
The amount owing to unsecured creditors is £39,937, and assets are valued at £1247. The amount owing to secured creditors is £27,659, this being the estimated \aTue of the security.
