ELLESSLIE CLUB.

The Ellerslie Pigeon Club flew a race from Te Kuiti on Saturday, Mr. Shiel's r h Silver Bell winning by a fair margin. Results:—•

Also flew: Mr. Porter's (1178 yds), Mr. Chapman (1175 yds), Mr. Young's (1169 yds), Mr. Redman's (1168 yds), Mr. Hughes (1112yd8), Messrs. Irving and Don's (1110 yds), Mr. Ching's (1097 yds). Last week the club flew a race from Blenheim. Results:—

The Point Chevalier "Pigeon Club flew their Obakune Yearling Stakes in dull weather for a trophy presented by Mr. H. E. Crowhurst, the wellknown successful fancier. The winning bird, Mr. L. Robertson's b b c Bondi, completed the distance of 186 miles in 5h 24m.
