LATE MR. JOHN MILNE.
The high esteem in which the late Mr. John Mine (managing director of John Chambers and Son) was held had ample demonstration at his ' neral on Saturday, when over 60 motor cars followed the hearse. No less than 300 wreaths and floral emblems were forwarded to the residence, Seaview Road, Remuera. The pall bearers were Messrs. Harold and Albert Bollard, brothera-in-law, Mr. L- P. Leary, Mr. Graham (manager of Briscoe, Ltd.), Mr. Duncan, and Mr. B. C. Moodie (John Chambers and Son, Lt<L). A short service was held at the house by the Rev. G. C. Cruickshank, of £$. Mark's Anglican Church, Remuera, who also conducted the service at Purewa Cemetery.
