TITIRANGI CUP.

THIS MORNING'S PLAY.

The open amateur tournament of the Maungakiekie Golf Club which opened on the new course at Titirangi on Saturday was continued to-day. Following are the results of the first round of the Titirangi Cup:—

Johnson beat Hazelden, 1 up, Hunter beat Carnachan, 6 and 5, Good beat Baker 4 and 3, Western beat Goulding 4 and 3, Robieson beat Coyle 3 and 2, Ralph beat 4 and 2, Brinsden beat Stewart 3 and 2, Western beat George 3 and 2.

W. S. Ralph played a fine round in the morning, recording 75 to finish three up on bogey.

In addition to the Titirangi Cup tengroup handicaps are being played with eight players in each. Few results are aavilable, as many of the matches started late.

Among the matches played were the following:—

The draw for the four-ball, best ball bogey match to-morrow, is as follows : Mrs. McCarthy and Mrs. Symes v. Miss Walrond and Miss Eskrigge; Mrs. Fearnlev and Mrs. Brown v.
