I would like to know why our laws **• not uniform, in that the magistrate of town can impose a sentence of three months' imprisonment for converting a car to hi* use, and yet another magistrate for the mm* offence, and another charge of stealing petrol from a car, imposes a sentence of fourteea days' imprisonment.
