PUKEKOHE, Friday.
At the annual meeting of the Pukekohe Cricket Association the following officers were elected for the ensuiug season:— Patron, Mr. J. Koalston; president, Mr. J. F. Deane; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. C. Clark, J. B. Brown, W. Daseley and W. F. J. Monro; secretary and treasurer, Mr. B. J. Drake; sole selector, Mr. Deane. It was decided to commence the association's annual competition, for the Taylor Shield, on Saturday, October 27, conditions to be the nme as last year. The clubs affiliating were, Karaka, Pukekohe Technical High School, Wesley College and Pukekohe. The draw for the first matches resulted: —High School v. Pukekohe, at Pukekohe; Karaka v. Wesley College, at Karaka.
