The New Zealand Church Missionary Society to-day received the following cable from China regarding the captured missionary, Miss Blanche Tobin: ''Brigands guarantee Miss Tobin'a life and Health. Settlement expected to-day." The cable was signed by the Rev. Mr. Blauchett, who was sent to arrange for the release of Miss Tobin.
