SLIGHT RISE IN BRITAIN

RUGBY, October 18.
A slight rise in the cost of living in Britain is indicated in a Gazette issued by the Ministry of Labour. This says the average level of retail prices on October 1 was about 66 per cent above that of July, 1914> as compared with 05 per cent a month ago and 67 per cent a year ago.
