DARGAVILLE NEWS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
DARGAVILLE, this day,
A section of land at Ruawai has been granted to the Ruawai branch of the Plunket Society as a site for the muchneeded rest room and offices.
A party of Opononi and Waimamaku residents has motored through the Waipoua Forest to Dargaville. It was their first shopping expedition to Dargaville since the winter. They reported that a fast course of metal has been spread right through the forest and work is now proceeding on the open fern country at the Dargaville end of the road.
