STUDYING FORESTRY.

EMPIRE DELEGATES ARRIVE

TO-NIGHT.

The delegates from various parts of the Empire who have been travelling through New Zealand studying forestry will arrive in Auckland this evening. They leave by train to-morrow morning for Dargavilie, en route for the Waipoua kauri forest. The conference will end at Auckland on Monday, when the final meeting will be held in the University Buildings, after which the delegates from the United Kingdom, India and. Africa, will leave for Wellington and the rest will go by the Vancouver steamer.

A lecture on New Zealand timbers will be given in the biological theatre of the University College on Monday evening by Mr. E Morrison, of Warkworth. this being under the auspices of the New Zealand Institute of Horticulture.
