LONDON, October 10.

A reduction of 113,000 tons of shipping at present under construction compared with three months ago is recorded by Lloyds shipping and building returns, also' a reduction of 500,000 compared with September 30 last yar.

Tho north east coast has suffered n decrease of 47 per cent and the Clyde 28 per cent.

The world's tonnage under construction amounts to 2,521,000 tons, of which 43 per cent is building in Britain.
