CONGRATULATIONS TO MISS KERR

Mention is made in the annual report of the New Zealand Cricket Council of the increase of interest by women in the great summer game. The outstanding performance of Miss Jean Kerr, of Maxton, who last season, in a match in that centre, scored. 144 runs out of a total of 181, and. then pro ceeded to take ten wickets, is wort of special mention.
