TRII*LE SUCCESS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA. this day. Ideal weather prevailed on Saturday for the Oddfellows' sports day at Paeroa. " The proceedings weje organised as a benefit for .H. Robinson, and the public gave the its generous support. Basketball, hockey and football contests were arranged, j'teams from Tuakau and Cambridge Lodges \ieing matched against the local (Paeroa and 3<etherton) Lodge. The programme arranged was :—Basket Ijill: Cambridge v. Paeroa. Hockey : Tuakau v. Paeroa. Rugby football: Tuakau v. 2) etherton, and Cambridge v. Paeroa. Every a inie was won by Paeroa. . In the basketball match Paeroa had easily tl e best of matters, and won by 28 goals to 2. In the hockey match against Tuakau Paeroa won easily by 8 goals to 1. The Tuakau v. Netherton Rugby match resulted in an easy win for the local team by 23 points to 3. •The Cambridge-Paeroa match was more ews nly contested, Paeroa winning by 9 points to tO.
