PERSONAL.
Mr. and Mrs. G. Currie, of Kai Iwi, are staying at Hotel Cargen. Mr. J. P. Rogerson, of Palmerstor North, is visiting Auckland. He is staying at Hotel Cargen. Mr. G. W. Lloyd, president of tht Christchurcli Returned Soldiers' Associa tion, and Mrs. Lloyd, are visiting Auck land. They are staying with then daughter, Mrs. R. Porter. Mr. R. W. Shallerass, of Wellington secretary of the New Zealand' Bowling Association, left Auckland by train this morning for Whangarei. He will be bacl in Auckland on Monday, and will staj at the Grand Hotel. Mr. L. Mcllride, secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Ser rants of New Zealand, will be visiting Auckland over the week-end on business in connection with the society. Messrs. Harry and George Trendall an returning to New Zealand by the lonic which is due in Wellington ou Tuesday They have been in England for nearh twenty years. Both are keen bowlers having represented their club in the 01< Country on many occasions, and an looking forward to continuing the garni ill Auckland.
