The torn is rich in vocal numbers, Stella Diracca, the wonder child soprano, and Johnny Negri, the popahr haUadist, contributing liberally to this portion of the programme. The starring vehicle, "The Upland Rider," is packed with, exciting incidents and produces soma wonderful acting on the part of. horses. Ken. Maynard k seen in the stellar rote, and the inimitable Marion Douglas plays opposite him. The supporting cast has been well chosen. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The final nerformance of "The Laughing Optimist" was staged at Hk Majesty's Theatre last night, and this evening Mr. Percy Hutchison and his company wifl continue their season with "Mr. Whatfo Hisj Name." Adapted from the French by Seymour Hacks, "Mr. What's Hk Natne" has proved verv papular in its translated form. As Adolpbe Xobiet. a married man who is believed dead, bat whp reappears suffering from loss si memory, Mr. Hutchison was well received in Australia. In the series of compbsetaons which forms the bask of the plot, al. the members of the company have bright parts, and there k plenty of sparkling dialogue.
