PERSONAL.
Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Leyland returned to Auckland to-day by the steamer Marama after a pleasant holiday extending over three months »n the mild winter climate of Northern Queensland. Mr. T. Simpson, general manager of the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, arrived from Sydney with members of his family in the Marama to-day, after a holiday visit to Australia. Mr. G. Wolseley King with his wife and son were passengers by the Marama from Sydney to-day. Mr. King, who formerly lived in Auckland, has been for four years in England, America and Europe. He is en route to Hawke's Bay.
