WOMEN ANNOYED.
OFFENDER GETS A MONTH. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. In the Police Court to-day, Donald McLean (54) was charged with disorderly behaviour. Sergeant Calwell said accused was making himself objectionable to women and children by following them around and offering them lollies. The Bench, referring to accused's record, which included a long term for a serious offence, said women and children must be protected from men of this class. A sentence of one month in Auckland gaol was imposed.
