TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE. The week opened dull to-day, as far as sales were concerned, but one or two lines were asked for at slightly 'better prices. I' 0 1" New Zealand Loan and Mercantile ordinary stock, £11L was offered at the noon call, an advance of 20/. Holden Motors recovered a little, buyers offering £1 10/, but no seller quoted. New Zealand Bank shares could be placed at £3 1/, and for Bank of New South "Wales shares £50 5/ is offered. Inquiry was made for Robinson's 100 Cream, rights to the new issue, 9d being offered, but the seller asked 2/. Farmers' Auctioneering ordinary shares are slightly better, being now wanted at £2 12/6.
