One reason is flint there appear- to be a pretty heavy carryover of egg pulp from la-t season, probably due to the bakers having- ?old less cake owing t° times not being so good. The result far as the local market is concerned is that bakers arc not buying so fieely for preserving for next winter's supply. An even greater cause of the present glirt of eggs 011 the local market is the fact that so far there has been no export.
