The Air Force base at Koweit, established to defend the city against desert Wahibi raiders, recently engaged a new enemy. When clouds of locusts threatened to do great damage, aeroplanes sent up to try and scatter them. Some of the machines were forced down owing to the locusts blocking the radiators.
