We must all thank the Hon. J. A. Young and at the same time congratulate ourselves on having such a far-seeing Minister of Health who m the prune of life left a profession to take up the more important dutv of rescuing our fine old British stock from seif-destruction. 1 lately had the pleasure of walking in Queen btreet a visiting foreign veterinary surgeon (who is very kindly disposed to our race). He discussed the weak expressions on the men's faces and the vacant, hopeless look of the women. There is not the slightest doubt that , CO "° tl 7 18 B°' n g to the dogs.
