BACON COMPANY'S FAILURE.
REPAYMENT OF GUARANTEES N.Z.C.D.C. SHAREHOLDERS TO DECIDE. (Bj> Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Wednesday. It was decided at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company to-day to submit to a referendum of the shareholders, the question whether the Waikato guarantors of the Xew Zealand Co-operative Packing and Macon Company, Ltd. (in liquidation), Messrs. J. Barugh and E. C. Banks, and the estate of the late Mr. T. Patterson, \\ ho originally lost £25,000 through the tiiink calling up their guarantee after the company had failed, should be reimbursed.
