MR. MURRAY'S CHARGES.
RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
A special committee of the Auckland City Council met yesterday afternoon to further discußß the position in regard to charges of waste and extravagance made by Mr. W. H. Murray, a member of the City Council. Mr. Murray was present at the meeting.
After sitting in camera the committee decided to recommend the council to reopen the inquiry in connection with certain items of the charges which the committee thought should be further investigated.
