Numerous Entries For Wrigley Marathon Swim. FORTY NATIONALITIES. (Australian and X.Z. Press Association.) (Received 9 a.m.) TORONTO, August 21. The Antipodes will be represented among the 400 candidates of the third Wrigley Marathon swim on Lake Ontario on September 5. Forty nationalities and 100 trades and professions will be represented. Sixty-six women have entered for the ten miles swim on August 29, and the first five will earn the right to compete with tho 15-mile Marathon.

Further results at the Tailteann Games are:— First Heat Men's 400 Metres Free Style Swim.—Spence (Canada), 1; Ault (Canada), 2; Lindsay (New Zealand), 3. Time, 5m 21s. Final Women's 400 Metres Swim. — Miss K. Miller (New Zealand), 1; Miss Davey (Australia), 2; Miss Laverty (England), 3. Time, 6m 10 4-ss. Miss Miller clipped 14s off the Tailteann record in her heat, and then did the final in 14 l-5s better time. > By 14 1 -5s faster than yesterday, Miss Miller brilliantly won the 400 metres final heat. The times indicated the closest race between Miss Miller and Miss Davey, but the New Zealandcr was never challenged. The Australian girl was beaten by 20 yards and had to swim hard to stave off Miss Laverty, who finished , two yards behind in third place. Miss Miller reduced the Tailteann record of Miss Shand (Christchurch) by 28 l-ss.

Hunter, the well-known Davis Cup player, has circularised all the important tennis players and clubs of the country, asking them to file a protest with the United States Lawn Tennis Association against taking any action relative to W.
