March 2 and 9 are reserved for any postponements and the final. ST. HELIER'S CLUB. The St. Heller's Club's annual ball, which was held last week, was a most pronounced success In every way. There was a verylarge attendance, which included several of the Auckland Centre executive aud members of various bowling clubs During the evening Mr. S. Coldicutt, president of the centre, presented trophies to the various winners of competitions during the past season. The ball was decorated with the club's colours, while a first-class orchestra and a dainty supper added to the success of the function.
HEW CLUB AT TE POI. (From Our Own Correspondent.) MATAMATA, this day. At a meeting on Saturday night a new bowling club was formed at Te Poi. a settlement five miles from Matamata. Arrangements have been made to rent a private green in the meantime, at a rental of £30 per year. The club will commence with a membership of 38. The following officers were elected: Patron. Mr. F. F. Hockly, M.P.; president, Mr. E. T. Wise; vice-presidents, Messrs. Grayling and T. Walls: auditor, Mr. J. Kerr: committee, Messrs. A. M. A. Wright, T. Walls, Goodwin and Grayling.
