RESCUES FROM DROWNING.
HUMANE SOCIETY'S AWARDS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRTSTCHURCH,- Monday. - The court of directors of the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand to-day approved the following awards: — Harold Ralpe, for rescuing W. J. Btisch from drowning at Lake Ferry, March 18, bronze medal. Daisy Miller and Daniel Oldham, rescuing Margaret Newton from drowning at jack's Bay, Clutha, bronze medal. John Silvester Fulton, rescuing Mary Anne from drowning at St. Clair Beach, Dunedin, certificate.
