RACECOURSE GRANDSTANDS. DHSTKUCTIOX IX lIOKITJKA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) lIOKITIKA, this day. The main grandstand and the stewards' stand at the Hokitika racecourse were destroyed by fire early yesterday morning. It is not known how the lire started. The main stand was insured for £1150, its contents for £125, the stewards' stand for £500. its contents for £100. The Royal Exchange, Queensland, Northern and Guardian Companies hold the policies.
