AUSTRALIANS IN HAMBURG. (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received 3 p.m.) HAMBURG, August 10. The Australians, Misses Boyd and Akliurst, together with Frauleiu Aus&em and Mrs. Watson, have entered tlic semi-finals in the tennis tournament. Miss Akhurst beat the former chain-1 pion, Frau Friedleben, and Miss Boyd beat Fraulein Krashwinkel after a haid game. The semi-finalists in the men's single? are Molden-Hauer and Prenn (Germany), Ohta (Japan) and Sleem (India). Slecm beat Greig, 6—l, 6—4, 4—45, B—6. Misses Akhurst and Boyd beat Fraus Galvao and Hoffman, 6—2, 6—o; Mrs. O'Hara Wood and Miss Bickerton beat Fraus Petery and Weihe, 6—2, 6—4, and in the semi-finals beat Fraus Kallmeyer and Stephanus, 6—3, 6—2. In the men's doubles, third round, Cummings and Moon (Australia) beat Greig and Hillyard (Britain), 5 —7, 6—2, 6—3,0—2.
