A luncheon Mill be tendered' by Mr. A. B. Koberton. honorary Japanese lonsnl in Auckland, to the Pfihee, the Admiral and tin- stall' ollicers. At .'i.-'JO Admiral Kobayashi will place a wreath on the soldiers' memorial at WaikumetC) and ho will be the guest of Mr. Bobertqn lit afternoon tea at his private residence. Til tho evening at (lie Town llall the City Council will tender an 'At Home" to tho J'rince, tho Admiral, the captains of the warships, twenty officers and ISj midshipmen.
For tho remaining days a full programme ot' events has been arranged and the visit will conclude on Friday with a special outing for officers ami niidshipinen to Kotorua. It is liopcd by the authorities that arrangements will be made to enable the public to visit the warships, but so far no information is available. The squadron will sail for Suva at 1) a.'ni. on Saturday.
