ESPIONAGE CHARGES.
Latvians Accused Of Helping Soviet. DEATH SENTENCES. (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) RIGA, July 24. The military trial of 28 Latvians, who were accused of espionage on behalf of Russia, has ended. Four of the accused were sentenced to death, four to hard labour for life and nine others to from five to 15 years' imprisonment, with liard labour.
