REMUERA RATEPAYERS.
EAST DISTRICT ASSOCIATION. The Remuera East Ratepayers' Association held the annual meeting at Meadowbank School, Remuera, last evening. Mr_. Skegg presided over an attendance of aibout 60 members. Officers were elected as follow:—President, Mr. W. Skegg; vice-president, Mr. Slyfield; committee, Messrs. Turnbull, Jones, Hutchinson, Brown, Wright, Hookham. Murray and Barton; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. Hookham. Mr. W. H. Murray addressed the meeting and was accorded a vote of thanks.
