LATE CAPTAIN BERRIDGE.
Over thirty motor cars were required yesterday afternoon to convey the friends who attended the interment at Waikumete of the remains of Captain Arthur Berridge, who was drowneid at Hokianga when the Isabella de Fraine sank on July 14. Many master mariners were amongst those present, and numerous wreaths had been forwarded. The Rev. A. J. Greenwood, of St. Alban's Anglican Church, conducted the service at the ha*M and alto the graveside.
